Have a close listen to Greta in this clip from the Daily Show. 200 species extinctions per day. That’s correct. 200 species disappear on a daily basis from this planet. That diversity is a value loss of immense proportions not able to be monetized; because it is simply too precious. She is the voice of a generation from a not too distant future who are asking us to help them now so they have a chance later. And a bit of partisan politics seems to so easily get in the way, and a lot of disbelief. Most of us will be around when the inevitable impacts of climate change destroy our food and water supply and destroy our capability to adapt. It is here and magnifying. Rate of change is key. The science is solid. So please votes for a climate crisis plan now that has clear and precise targets that are identified, accurate, and necessary.
